This Magic Stone Will Align Your Energy

According to some ancient traditions, lapis lazuli is a powerful stone given to us by the gods. As far back as we can look into history, and even into prehistory, we cannot seem to find the time when we were separate from these gemstones. They all have their own benefits, though some are greater than others. Lapis lazuli is one of those stones that are greater than others. In fact, it’s one of the greatest stones. In Ancient Egypt, lapis was cherished more than gold, and Cleopatra loved to have some around her always.

The question then becomes “Why was this stone cherished so much?” In today’s world that question doesn’t have a clear answer, but in the world that existed before modern times, the answer immediately becomes apparent. In today’s world, we are too easily distracted. Our attention is constantly fleeting like a flea jumping from place to place. It is for this reason when we carry a sacred gemstone we do not feel it effects at first.

The Effects of Sacred Stones: Lapis

Insomnia

Let’s talk a bit more about Ancient Egypt. Back then, it was believed that the soul was kept in the brain. After death, they made a poultice with some lapis lazuli and some gold. This poultice was then painted onto the skull, or in more extreme situations, poured into the skull after drilling a hole through.

Now, drilling a hole through your head isn’t a requirement in order to explore the benefits of this sacred stone, but it paints a picture of what the possible uses are. Lapis is actually an amazing aid for those who suffer from sleep problems. To receive this benefit, wear the stone as a pendant as you sleep, or place a piece under your pillow. When you wake up, you will feel well rested and internally aligned.

Chakra

Another great benefit of this stone is how it opens up the throat chakra. Firstly, let's define chakra. A chakra is a form of spiritual energy that has several centers through your body. It flows back and forth between through those centers just like blood would flow through your circulatory system. You can learn to control your chakra and manipulate the flow between the separate chakra centers.

Lapis lazuli works well to open up the flow towards our throat chakra a little bit. The throat chakra is incredibly important. Besides being the bridge that connects your head to your body, when it comes to expression and communication everything relies on the throat chakra. The uses of this are near infinite, as it is usable in every conversation you will ever have. Lapis is useable for you to make yourself more communicative, to allow for the heart of your message to reach its destination, and to sway others with empathy.

Emotional Healing

Now you can tell yourself that you have your emotions in order, but that is not true, and you know that too. The truth is, no matter how composed and put together we seem on the outside, our emotions are still emotions. Deep within us all somewhere, they exist like an ocean, made of waves all crashing into each other. For some people, it’s easier to control and calm down the tide and for others, it becomes impossible at times.

Lapis lazuli has the unique property of balancing your emotions. Similar to giving someone anxiety medication, it is possible for lapis to calm the crashing waves of emotions inside you. Though medication for things like anxiety and depression erases the lowest lows of your life, the compromise is also losing the highest highs. This is where lapis separates itself from any other kind of emotional balancing tool. Lapis will allow you to experience everything, but it will smooth out the ride and allow you to process everything and compartmentalize it.

Conclusion

There are many more benefits to lapis, however, you were just given an introduction. As stated above, the effects of sacred stones like lapis are not felt by us immediately in modern times. To squeeze out all the benefits requires an ability to calm down and focus/meditate on the stone. That is how you draw out all of the energy and potential stones like lapis hold. If you manage to pull it off, you will immediately realize the true value of the stone as the ancients did, and hold it close to your heart forever.
