How to Look Fly for Your Beach Trip

“I don't like sand. It's coarse and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere.” One way or another, I’m sure we’ve all heard that line. But who actually agrees with it? Everyone I know loves the beach, and so do all the people they know. That’s why when you get excited about a beach trip, you never want to leave anything behind. That could ruin your plans big time. So in order for you to not forget anything, here’s a whole bunch of items you need to bring with you for a beach trip.

Swimsuit

First and foremost, you’re going to the beach. If everything else goes wrong, you can still say you went for a beach trip if you bring a swimsuit and get in the water. Without it, not only would you not be able to swim, but you also wouldn’t be able to look like a regular person lounging at the beach. It would be incredibly awkward and out of place for anyone to just sit around the beach with their regular street clothes, so make sure you’re not that person.

Sunscreen

This should be self-explanatory. The part that requires an explanation, arguably, is why this is listed as the second thing to bring to you on the beach and not the first. Well, firstly, some people are more sensitive to sunburns than others. Besides that though, there are still ways to protect yourself from the sun if you did not have sunscreen. If you don’t believe me, don’t worry, we’ll get to those things later. Sunscreen is great, however, because it’s easily applicable and it’ll save your skin (literally) from more than just sunburns. If your beach trip is going to span longer than a couple of days, sunscreen will be essential.

Sunhat & Sunglasses

These two go hand in hand. The sunglasses are to protect your eyes from the harsh rays from the sun, but more importantly, so you look fly. The sunhat is also there for the protection from the harsh rays of the sun, and as a bonus it makes you look super fly. This is an amazing practical combo you should never be without if you’re at the beach.

Beach Bag

Next comes an essential part of the entire beach trip - the beach bag. The beach bag you bring along is what will be carrying pretty much everything listed here. In it you can keep the spare clothes you’ll need when you’re on your way to or from the beach.

Beach Clothes

Going to the beach shouldn’t just be a getup and go sort of thing as if you’re headed to Walmart. You should try and become the aura of “going to the beach” itself. What that basically means is you should dress appropriately, but really well. A bunch of cute swimsuits will be great to bring, along with lightweight linens. If you bring some lightweight linens to the beach, you go from beach babe to swimsuit model, that’s for sure.

Bling

Pretty much everyone likes to stand out, don’t they? It’s an ambition shared by everyone, to be a beacon everyone looks towards with admiration. How do you do that at the beach though? It’s kinda hard to pull off because everyone’s pretty much dressed the same, which is to say to the bare minimum. You can only separate yourself so far, or can you?

Jewelry can be the key to this. Of course, no one wears their diamonds to the beach, fearing they’ll lose them (like what happened to Kim Kardashian that one time). That is a completely reasonable concern to have. However, you can still stand out by wearing gemstones rather than precious stones. Take lapis lazuli for example. It’s a beautiful stone that stands out from anything you put beside it. In terms of its value, compared to almost any other jewelry out there, lapis lazuli jewelry is incredibly affordable. Just make sure to get your lapis from a reputable source, like Loco Lapis.

Conclusion

Now you’re ready for your beach trip. In fact, not only are you ready but you’re ready to be the best looking babe out there. There’s no way with all the lapis jewelry, lightweight linens and cute swimsuits you’ll bring that you won't have every eye on you. You’re finally prepared to have the best beach trip of your life.
